Afrodit Phoenix

Afrodit adalah dewi cinta, kecantikan, dan seksualitas dalam mitologi Yunani.
Karena kecantikannya, para dewa takut bahwa Afrodit akan menimbulkan perpecahan di antara para dewa, karena itu Zeus menikahkan Afrodit dengan Hefaistos. Namun Afrodit memiliki banyak kekasih, baik dari kalangan dewa, misalnya Ares, maupun dari golongan manusia, misalnya Ankhises. Afrodit juga merupakan ibu angkat sekaligus kekasih Adonis. Banyak manusia dan dewa minor yang disebut-sebut sebagai anak Afrodit. Salah satu putra Afrodit yang terkenal adalah Eros (Cupid), dewa asmara.
Afrodit juga dikenal sebagai Kithireia (Wanita dari Kythira) dan Kipris (Wanita dari Siprus) karena kedua tempat tersebut dianggap sebagai tempat kelahiran Afrodit.
Tanaman myrtle, burung dara, burung gereja, kuda dan angsa dikeramatkan untuknya.
Dalam mitologi Romawi, dia dikenal sebagai Venus. Orang Yunani juga mengidentikkan dewi Mesir kuno, Hathor, dengan Afrodit.
Hal lainnya, seperti misalnya Akidalia, Kythereia dan Kerigo, yang digunakan di daerah tertentu di pada abad keempat SM memisahkan dewi Afrodit menjadi dua, yaitu Afrodit surgawi (Afrodit urania) dengan prinsip-prinsip transender dan Adoridt umum yang dikenal oleh orang-orang (Afrodit Pandemos).

Phoenix  (bahasa Yunani: Φοίνικας– Phoínikas, bahasa Latin: Phoenix, bahasa Belanda: Feniks, bahasa Perancis: Phénix) dalam mitologi Mesir adalah sejenis burung api legendaris yang keramat. Burung api ini digambarkan memiliki bulu yang sangat indah berwarna merah dan keemasan.
Feniks dikatakan dapat hidup selama 500 atau 1461 tahun. Setelah hidup selama itu, Feniks membakar dirinya sendiri. Setelah itu, dari abunya, munculah burung Feniks muda. Siklus hidup burung Feniks seperti itu (regenerasi), bangkit kembali setelah mati, lalu muncul sebagai sosok yang baru.
Feniks merupakan simbol dari keabadian, lambang dari siklus kehidupan setelah mati, dan simbol dari kebangkitan tubuh setelah mati.
Feniks menjadi simbol suci pemujaan terhadap Dewa matahari di Heliopolis, Mesir. Burung Feniks simbol dari Dewa Matahari.
